Michael Scherotter

Bio

In 2021, Michael Scherotter took a sabbatical from his 15-year career in creative software engineering and program management at Microsoft to pursue a passion project to create and launch Galeryst.com, a site that generates 3D virtual galleries from Adobe Photoshop Lightroom collections. Since launching, more than 700 artists and photographers globally have created galleries to share their work on desktops, laptops, tablets, phones, and VR headsets with global audiences.
In his 28-year career in software, Michael has used his design education in architecture to design and built CAD applications, lead software teams, evangelized developer platforms and lead media-industry co-engineering projects with a particular focus on the intersection of creativity and technology.

I discover and craft connections linking creative processes that delight me with technologies that fascinate me, sharing the results to inspire and motivate others.
